Art

At Jubilee we celebrate art and creativity.

We take pride in our learning environments, which is evident in the wonderful displays in all of our corridors, teaching spaces and classrooms, which help to showcase our children’s work and inspire children to learn.

Art is taught through the IPC, The International Primary Curriculum, which is taught in over 90 countries worldwide.  This curriculum places great emphasis on subjects being taught in a cross curricular manner.  Art is planned in to all topics from Nursery to Year 6. Children have the opportunity to take part in a range of exciting art activities such as mosaics, printing, drawing, textiles and performing arts such as dance, music and drama.

In line with the National Curriculum, children will also be studying local British artists who tie in with their current areas of study.  Exciting trips to London Galleries and workshops with skilled artists are also planned into the curriculum.
