PE is a highly valued part of the curriculum at Jubilee
PE increases pupils’ knowledge and understanding of the human body; how to use their bodies efficiently and effectively and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. A balance of individual and team, cooperative and competitive activities cater for each individual’s ability and potential.
Central to our delivery is the principle that all pupils should value physical activity and find something they enjoy.
We have used our Physical Education and Sports Premium funding to create opportunities for our children to receive specialist training, replace sports equipment and to access competitive sports.
Our school offers an ever-expanding extra-curricular programme including; multi-sports, gymnastics, street dance, futsal, fitness club, girls and boy’s football, and netball. Clubs are available to all students and we encourage everyone to get involved irrespective of ability.
Our aim for Physical Education is simple; we want all children to get into the habit of playing and enjoying sport as it can help instil confidence, determination and discipline.
