The attendance for Spring Term 2019 was 93.2%, which is way below the school’s target of 95.6%. Let us please try and improve our attendance this term. Please take a moment to read the leaflet/poster "Is Your Child Well Enough to Come to School?", which gives NHS guidance regarding illnesses. Thank you
The punctuality for Spring Term 2019 was 97.2%. This should be 100%. We are always happy to talk to parents who are having problems making it to school on time.
We can make a difference to children's learning when they attend school so it is vital that they attend everyday.
Duty of parents to secure education of children of compulsory school age:
"The parent of every child of compulsory school age shall cause him to receive efficient full-time education suitable — (a) to his age, ability and aptitude, and (b) to any special educational needs he may have, either by regular attendance at school or otherwise.”
This is the Law on education of children from the age of 5. At Jubilee we take this seriously, and endeavour to promote good attendance by encouraging parents to have their children in school every day.
We will be publishing the Termly attendance figures on the website so that as parents and carers you will be able to keep track of your child’s attendance and see the impact of both good and poor attendance. At the end of Terms 2, 4, & 6, children with 100% receive a metal (bronze, silver, or gold) badge.
